Registration for the ROL-EKO anniversary conference is open

This will be an event that will bring together scientists and entrepreneurs involved in organic farming and food production. The ROL-EKO conference, which will take place in Poznań in autumn, will become an arena for the exchange of knowledge and experience between scientists, industry leaders or enthusiasts of modern agriculture.

The 25th anniversary edition will be held under the motto ‘Organic agriculture – current state and prospects for development. Techniques, technologies, food production’. This meeting will bring together leading experts from Poland – representatives of science, business and innovative solutions for the agro sector. The event will include debates, discussion of the latest trends and groundbreaking technologies that are shaping the future of organic farming.

Topics of presentations will include:

  • technical aspects of plant and animal production, as well as of cultivation and crop care in organic farms,
  • application of IoT, ICT and AI techniques in the agri-food sector,
  • automation and robotics in agriculture,
  • techniques and technologies applicable in the agri-food industry,
  • plant protection in organic farms, as well as alternative methods of controlling crop diseases and agrophages,
  • production of organic food and marketing of organic products.

ROL-EKO will be a unique opportunity for scientists to present the results of their research to entrepreneurs, and for entrepreneurs to tell scientists what research they need to develop, says Agata Bieńczak, Ph.D., from Łukasiewicz – PIT, the conference organiser. – We believe that new research projects and innovations that we will use will emerge from this meeting, she adds.
